LINA PAN

An associate in the firm’s Tax practice, Lina Pan has experience advising private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, strategic investors and other clients on the tax aspects of a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, with a focus on:

  • Mergers, acquisitions and divestitures;

  • Joint ventures and minority investments;

  • Financings;

  • Reorganizations;

  • Securities offerings; and

  • Equity compensation arrangements.

She has represented clients in complex tax matters across a broad spectrum of industries and investment strategies, including private equity, technology, real estate, retail, sports and media, healthcare, consumer products and infrastructure.

Lina received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. She received her B.A. in Literature from Claremont McKenna College, where she received top departmental honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Prior to joining Pacific Tax and Compensation Counsel, Lina was a Tax associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in its New York, NY and Palo Alto, CA offices.
